Storage pods let you move house without scheduling your move around a moving companys schedule, and their safety, security, and convenience cannot be matched. Once pods arrive at your house, you decide how long you want to take to fill them, when the company should pick them up, when they should be delivered to your new home, and how long you have to empty them. It is easy to use storage pods. When you call the company, you decide how many pods you will need and when you want them delivered. A company truck leaves the pods outside your home. You fill them at your own speed and secure them, then phone the company to come pick them up. The company loads them back onto the truck and either drives them straight to your new address, or keeps them in a secure storage facility until you call back to request delivery. When you receive the pods at your new address, you unpack them as slowly or quickly as you like, then call the company to remove them. It is that easy. Often you dont even need to be present when the pods arrive or are picked up.
Pods are good for any kind of move, but they are ideal for moves in which there will be more than a few days lag between moving out of your old home and into your new home. For instance, you may plan to spend a month or two living in a short term rental apartment and looking for a house in your new town after you have closed on the sale of your previous house. In essence, you move twice and pay twice. If you use storage pods, your belongings are never removed from the pod, so they are safe from damage, and the cost of storage and reloading onto a new truck are included in the fee. You move once and pay once. On top of that, storage pod companies are used to storing pods for a lengthy period, so you will not need to reassure a moving company that expected you to call for delivery within a week of your first move.
